COPPELIA

Saturday was the Central Oregon School of Ballet's performance of 'Coppelia'. It is totally amazing to Dan & me what those teachers can accomplish with a bunch of young people. The costumes, the set, and the dancing was just super! I'm not prejudiced or anything ;)

We were a bit worried about the heat - and it was another day in the 90's but no one on stage fainted and the audience had programs to fan themselves with so all was well in the end. Nothing a little DQ ice cream couldn't fix after the show!

Amy's friend, Miriam, was able to attend with us.

Now we have some time off from 3 ballet classes a week. September will come all too fast!

Amy was one of the 'Czardas Dancers' in the 3rd act. She didn't like her costume as it was heavy velvet and tight! She looked lovely, though...

Nutcracker coming in December! Oregon & Texas - YEAH
