The last 2 weeks have been very snowy. We thought we left all that in NY but I guess we brought some with us. Before moving here, we monitered the weather via the internet and concluded that although it does snow here and winter is a real season we would enjoy a drier winter. Well, there has been more snow in Central Oregon this winter than in the past 15 years.
As you can see by the picture, Dan has been doing some shoveling and Amy has been enjoying his efforts. There is relief in the future as 40+ degree weather is coming for the next week. Some melting must occur.

I can honestly say that's a sight I DO NOT miss! Glad Miss Amy is able to enjoy it...and that Dan is able to...um...get some exercise LOL
Here, it should hit 70* today, and we're planning our garden and feeding our compost in anticipation of late March planting...
